When we're focused on a computer, phone, or tablet, we become so attentive to what we're doing that we don't blink as often as we should. When we don't blink enough, the surface of the eye starts to dry out, leading to irritation. The nerves on the cornea become irritated, vision becomes blurry, and we enter a vicious cycle where the condition progressively worsens.
